Noteworthy Options:

A.) North and south borders loop into eachother (Going off north border brings to south border in same direction and longitude.) (Note this may cause problems, such as team A has pushed team B into north corner, BBs on team A rush off south to pop up at belt range of team B.)

B.) Going off north/south borders returns you to spawn (Top Row, closes to center of map spawn position). (Left and Right maintains retreat (Reasoning to reduce chances of HA code for APA's being ill affected))(My personal recommendation.)

C.) Old borders with plane modification. (Border humper's paradise.)

D.) Old borders without plane modifications.

E.) Current

Thoughts?

A) Giving people the ability to teleport halfway across the map. No.
B) Maybe. Still don't like the idea of teleporting.
C) You stated the issue with this one.
D) Going back to the old issues. No thanks.
E) Keeping the current issues. Still not ideal.

Simple fix would be to mark the retreat zone visually. I, personally, would like the idea of giving a warning similar to the torpedo warning when you are approaching the border, before the retreat countdown. This way people have extra time to react, without the problems increasing the countdown itself would bring.

Yes, however the same people going off the map will just not notice it, just like they miss the torpedo warning.

or maybe the devs can learn some coding, earn their paychecks, and move the damn rocks south
