^^BW heavy games frequently break balances it seems.
It would also help with the bottlenecking of waiting on CVs for games (recalling the old days of 4CVs per side) if more people felt a more focused way to boost their CV experience. Then all CVs are motivated to get exp in a similar way to how BBs shoot other BBs to get more exp. CV grinds feel long and dry as is.
You could balance the credit ramp as Tier vs Tier. If you're T3 and you shoot down a T1 you'll get less credits than shooting the same or higher.Also gives an incentive to learn which planes are which, which have an advantage over others, etc. Increasing incentives to play better=better for everyone.
I say this because like you were quick to say, a blanket exp change is too simple of a solution. Making the CV system more ramped like the BB system but with credits instead of damage (but in addition to damage in some proportion) makes sense to me. I think it's a great idea that you can go even further with it down the road.
