Na, their dive time is way too short. If we look at real life than those subs could stay longer underwater than 20 minutes. Let's vote for that! =') A few battles back I did a hit on a sub with my Shinano angle 45... Still in green somehow

At first i chuckled at soon as I saw the thread. Then I remember back when I was driving a sub, they could use a small boost.

BBs should be more durable.

10-20 Torpedoes should not kill them.

You assume the sub was only slightly damaged. (maybe, maybe he was severely damaged)  You also assume all of your expertly aimed shells landed directly on the sub (highly unlikely).  Maybe the answer isn't as neatly packaged into your pre-conceived opinion and you imagine alternatives to fit your narrative.  You also assume your Shinano shells are extremely explosive and damaging (probably not as much as you think).

I was dragging my UK Emerald CL as an escort the other day.  It took about 15 hits from BBs before they could finally put it away.  Quite a few shells hit solidly. Shouldn't that CL have been sunk with merely one or two shells from a BB?

Nobody complains about not being able to sink a CL with solid hits from their Awe-inspiring weapons on their newest, shiniest EBB.

A few games back, while in using a KM SS Type XXI, I surfaced early under a cloud.  I was hit with one salvo from a nearby BB and obliterated instantly.  Enough of this mythology and fabrications.

Or maybe he hit the sub squarely and it didn't take much damage, cause that happens alot.
