I paid $ for this ship and spread is very bad.
elite gunners with 170 vets lvl 92, the spread is like a level 60 gunners non-bve.

Compared to AD which has good acc and power, kindly improve the ACC. I dont care about the firepower "IJN punches like a girl i know".

Just let the ship hit something. We paid $ for it, make it worth the $.




Note: you PROs will will say "the ship is good, maybe there is something wrong with you"

The spread is definitely terrible, even with 120 gunners it isn't that good.

 

The only thing I like about the B65 personally was the good T slots when your other low level alternatives are BBs like the kongo/fuse/ise.

 

Test team can take a look and pass suggestions on to SDE, but small BB tweaks are not made very often.

There is 10 other BBs with much worse spread. (USN 14" BB2s and both 3s)


Honestly the spread on the B65 is a plus, those random range increases can be pretty useful. 


If there is any gun with a true spread problem. Its the USN 16" Mark 6s and the USN 14" Mark 7s


Honestly I don't know why you purchased the B65. Anyone in the IJN subforum would have suggested getting the Hyuga or another EBB.

Because it's a PBB, not EBB? Doesn't mean he could get an EBB instead.

 

You're right about the USN 14" guns, although uncertain which 16"s, I thought the BB2 duals were fairly accurate, although the BB3 trips are pretty spready. But we're talking about lvl 63 guns, and the lvl 120 spread with these guns wasn't very good, although, it's been a while since I used my B65 and I think it did get a spread buff since then.

Ran a quick test with my IJN gunners, although they're only lvl 97 ebve gunners so they're a fair bit higher than at level gunners are, spread seemed pretty decent to me.

I think if your spread feels unusably bad then your gunners either need more experts/vets, or if they're already full of experts with many vets then simply leveling them to increase the accuracy cap will probably help. Increasing the guns accuracy themselves would probably make this ship too accurate with 120 gunners.

I recommended it.

The b65 is OK but definitely not the same value as the AD. It's only tolerable with good AA gunners.

However, realizing how awesome my gunners are for IJN I need to step back and realize that not everyone uses IJN AA or may have poor gunners. This ship would essentially be worthless with a level 70 "new player" crew.
