Remove those waiting room, and create auto join system, so player wont have to wait for a room to fill up or start slaming their keyboard becouse of afk host, instend they can create a room from habur, or click on auto join a room as they desire, and auto join system will look for the most populate room and start at instant when the room i full or at least a minimum number, this will reduce the chance of afk host or failed room (room dismiss since lack of ppl)

and put on a world chat so player can chat even from thier habour, sale / trade / recruiting is absalutly big NO

please consider my sugguestion, and thank you.

+1 if any of you think this should be apply on the game system.

this is a good suggestions.  it is like the other games and how they make rooms.

 

The only fault is in the diversity of ship types.  An automatic go for this game would be based on what?  20/6?  So you could automatically join an 'auto room' that will automatically start when there are 20 bb's and 6 cv's?  That would be beneficial.

 

Then there can be manual rooms that have the manual hosts should they want to wait for something else like max players or somthing. 

 

Great suggestion.  i hope it goes somewhere.

Here is the fatal flaw concerning "auto" join rooms ...... the battle never ends and there is no clear winners.

For example:
"I used all my ammo, got 127 K damage and STILL LOST! How did I lose when the game was not even over yet? I think I am going to contact a Mod and tell them something is wrong cuz I got cheated."

However, I am ALL FOR the banning of afk hosts for 1 month ( or 30 days or 30 periods of 24 hours).

AFK hosts are the next biggest bane to NavyFIELD outside of the desyncs, crashing game clients and induced lag due to faulty routing by hosting server. 

The purpose of the banning of that player's account for 30 days will cut down drastically the frivolous attitude towards AFK hosting a room, as well as cutting down on so called "Protest" rooms at the same time.  By extension, it would ALSO reduce the amount of players that employ multiple accounts/comps thru banning of accounts they are not paying attention to.

Basically, those that laughingly host a room which has to go so far as to automatically count down, are busted properly and rightfully so. Remove the tolerance for frivolous AFK hosting and this game is one step closer to be taken seriously.

Hosting players that crash ( unexpected game client closure ) are booted from the room by the game server or by any "player/mod" with terminal access thru the Main.dll function, so the original host cannot be penalized.

auto system should take priorities on 20/6 based room and at least an average numbers of other ship class such as :

 

20 BB

6 CV

8 DD

10 FF

 

somthing like that multiple number above 5 like 6 DD or 8 SS *BB's nightmare*

and dont forget to click on the recomended button guys, i really hope that this could be apply on NF...

Get rid of the host function altogether.

Implement a fully automated starting system that will put you into a queue and start the game at set point initiators (i.e. 20/6;  5-minutes; minimum or maximum ships,  etc.)  Host could set the game up; but the autostart function (and auto-ban) and autosplit functions are taken away from the host after the original set points have been established.

There should be a countdown clock in the waiting room showing when the game will start.

End of problem.
