I tried going back years to read the patchnotes, but I fear that alone will take me weeks!
I've played upwards 3 years ago, before the BB6 times, and when Subs were first released. Frankly I can't remember when that was. I'm wondering, has much changed for the US BB's? Perticularly the SoDak and the Iowa.?
I'm currently waiting to see if they can restore my "sleeping" account, else I'll need to start over. I plan to start with the sodak or something smaller first and leveling more before going iowa again . I remember SoDak spread being horrible at best, has there been any change in that? If I have to start over, are the US still ok, or have they been nerfed so I'd rather start something not gimped hehe.
Do the BB6's have more range than the BB5's? (I'm scared of the thought)

Yes BB6 outrange BB5.
They added new fail nation, that aren't even properly fixed.
And more ships like event ship.

hmm, 2-3 years ago. was the bb34(5) patch implemented already then? -> improvement of sodak and norcar

I think I left around that patch time, but before any actual changes I think, at least I don't recall any patch improving the SoDak spread. Wondering if it's still as large as a BB5 ship :P

basically sodak spread got better, but got speed nerfed to speed cap 47
norcar got a slightly longer range gun than sodak now (emphasis on slightly). and it goes 44, 45. i forgot which
iowa and monty wasnt really touched.

Sweet, 47 speed cap doesn't sound too bad, I remember seeing them go 49, perhaps even 51(?) I'm not sure. Spread increase is a blessing, can't wait to play now. Iowa has always been great, same for monty, so I'm glad they haven't been touched much. I'll definitely play some more with SoDak before going back to Iowa, good 10 more levels. But I think I'll skill a new crew as I'm short on an engineer and repairmen for BB6. It'll give me a chance to out level my BO as well with my gunners at some point. Can't wait to play now! Yes, old Sodak did 49, with a 51 knot 3 gun setup and a 54 knot 2 front gun setup.
I still can get 49 knots using the same setuo that was for 51 knots.

Sweet, I got most of my stuff back, they seem to have restored a few months before last I played, I miss 3 or so levels on most sailors, a good lot of credits and points (few mill) and no iowa (as I'm missing the levels now) also for some strange reason my radio man is missing :P But it's ok though, I'll just relevel those a bit, all my previous elite/boosted sailors are there so I'm ok I sold my CV crew for millions (my god has the server credits inflated!) Sodak is fun but I decided to get ready for BB5, I already have 4 high level repairers, just 3 engineers, leveling a 4th now. With my current setup I'm at 48 knots OH with enough bulge to survive surprise submarine attacks. Just a week or two of boring PCA farming until he's got enough levels to not lose xp on the sodak. Good times \o/ And thanks again for the support guys :)

with 2 gun setup, you can still do 51 now
