you took the time and trouble to get STEAM involved in Navyfield. new players and fleets and an encouraging boost to the game. FIRST time in a long time. returning players in actual detectable numbers. first time in a long time. MOMENTUM.
next an intro of an ongoing 'long term' minimal evant geared to help STEAM players advance. this was followed by a late but 'OK' Christmas event, more all-encompassing than the ongoing mini-event, yet in no way comparable to WINTER EVENTS of the past. more new players, more returning players...5-8 battle rooms going at some times. FIRST time in a long time. a continuation of momentum called CONTINUITY.
now we are back to 1-2 battle rooms, one most of the time. may i ask what you expect, SDE? STEAM players will drop off in droves, waiting 9 minutes per battle in undersized rooms. returning players will do the same. this game has always had a history of 'event players' looking for the 'gravy' rewards. they only come out for events.
the ONLY LOGICAL MOVE NOW, if you expect CONTINUITY, is a winter ending/beginning of spring major event akin to Winter events of the past. EVERYONE NEEDS EXPERTS!! MAKE THEM ATTAINABLE!! EVEN A COMBINATION OF THE BINGO AND MONOPOLY GAMES!

maintain CONTINUITY or just say goodbye to steam and the returning players and fold this addictive game and bail out, because if you don't, eventually even the diehard addicts of the game will flip you the finger and there will beno battle rooms. AND YOU CAN CONGRATULATE YOURSELVES SDE ON KILLING THE ONLY GAME OF ITS KIND, ONCE AND FOR ALL!
