  • 3D secure authentication?

Been trying to purchase some olives, but the pop up keeps saying my bank does not provide 3D secure authentication, and it fails.

I have no idea what that is, and I've not had a problem before with other sites. My card is fine, that's not the problem.

Do I have to go through the bother of opening a paypal account or something? I'd rather just do what I always do and use my card with no hassle. I'm more tempted not to purchase anything at all than I am to open up a paypal account or something just for NF.






OK I took the plunge and attempted Google Checkout. I got an order receipt email but no olives yet. I don't know how long that will take. Nothing in history yet either. Let's see.

You can use PayPal as a third party to process your credit card even if you're not using a PayPal account. Choose PayPal as your payment type, and when your transaction progresses to the PayPal login screen select "use PayPal as a guest" or however it's worded. If your credit card would work in PayPal, it'll work through PayPal without having to create an account.

This is especially useful when using prepaid cards.

Does that cost anything? Google Checkout is free, but it also didn't seem to work.

Paypal worked right away. Google Checkout didn't.

im not 100% sure about the credit card feature, for me its always been the same way.
I use paypal and I would recommend it over google checkout.

I have heard from many people that google checkout is delayed, meaning when you purchase your olives you may have a delay before you recieve them. Paypal for me has always been instant, as soon as i click confirm it re-directs me back and i have my olives
