You have always been able to do this in GB1.... and how is it cheating?

Made more sense to hide that in gb2 as flagships were involved.

So many years and it was never an issue.

Personally I'd prefer a Vs game type where when you join the room you are put to A or B and you cant see across. Would make fleet leagues and events alot more fun.

But if you disable it, how will I cheat to hunt enemy subs?

As said, it was a novelty of GBII to hide the teams and where each ship are going.

Mainly so CVs don,t all send bombers toward the flag at start I'd guess.

All other game room enable that sneak peak.

A cheat would be bypassing the system to get an advantage.

You should probably reword that one to:

Disable GB1's ability to see the other team's layout.

no, the only reason it was blocked in GB2 is because of the flag. its supposed to be a mystery who/where the flag is. GB1 has no flag, therefore no reason to hide the other team.

This would be good for normal rooms such as clan area b/c of the HA prep and it would prevent spys. but for gb1 i wouldnt mind to have it there too.
