Yes, I'm blitzing through the process of reviving the Kaiser server fleet league. It's been dead for too long, and I just got permission from TNF Kaiser to run this season's FL with their help.
To start, this is officially season #2, following April 2011 season. The current planned starting time is the end of october or the start of november, plus or minus 2 weeks depending on how soon all the organization and discussion can be done.
So far, the most important change between last season and this season is that there will be a slight change in leadership.
I will be in charge of day to day issues, most of the organization and so on, while docryan and tankrat will be the official TNF running the league if TNF powers are needed during the league. A chain of command will be created soon to ensure the proper organization of the upcoming league.
The other change that MIGHT happen is the use of the NF official forums. I'm in the process of discussion with TNF and Nebreaska's ONF to try and get a fleet league forum created.
The first step to start the league again is to get an official list of organizers. Organizers will act as referees during the playoffs and/or as administrators depending on the changes to rules and their availbility.
Fleet signup will start in a few weeks.
I'm now opening the official organizer/referee recruiting thread. Note, all TNF (excluding tankrat and docryan) will need to put in an application for reference purposes.
