What is the difference between the IJN's Special Torpedo and Hyper Torpedo?
Only the Special Torpedo can use type93  Torpedo?

meanwhile,the guide show that there is a Special Torpedo kai but not in ship sailor tree.

Special is better.

There is no different torpedoes they can use or anything, special just gets more skill and a second class.

What does it matters if it has more growth.

To be honest, after lvl 55-60 the classing is moot. Torpedoers cap relatively early. If they capped late, the increased growth would be useful.

I've personally considered trying a set of partially delayed torpers (I haven't run the calculations to see when to class them to still cap 100+) but getting the extra rep/rest would be interesting to see. Would be useful for a high level sub crew though would likely require some hefty $$$$.

Would certainly help contribute to the SD and Rep rate, and would still cap depending on when you class em, would save weight as well. TBH I've grinded three sub crews to ss3/ss4 and sold all three. Bet if I raised 100+ lightweight , SD and rep producing capped torpedoers I could sell em for a bit though. Be an interesting strategy for a kita as well from a weight standpoint.
