Hello all i am wanting to make a cv but wasnt sure of the strengths and weakness of the nations any links on this or genreal infor would be greatly appreciated .

USN - Best Fighters. Bad Dive bombers, Second best Torpedo bombers.
RN - Worst fighters. Worst Dive Bombers, best Torpedo Bombers
IJN - Weak but fast fighters. Good Dive Bombers, Average Torpedo bombers.
KM - Very good fighters. Average Dive bombers, Weak torpedo bombers.
SN - Slow but othervise above average fighters. Best Dive bombers, Worst Torpedo bombers
MN - Good fighters, Average DB and TB

Also note that CV play is fighter centric at the moment so going for a nation with strong fighters (USN KM or MN) is a good idea.

also note that IJN has the earliest level CV and pilots

MN, KM, and IJN Junyo line have longer grinds between ships

RN and IJN hosho line have more CVs and remods so fewer levels between if youre the type to get bored of your ships.

Be aware, this is all about to change. Also, USN has 3rd best TBs, IJNs do more damage.

Also it doesn't mean crap what you have if you can't use it. A good player with RN fighters can Rape the guy who can't play worth jack with USN fighters.

last time i checked IJN T2 TB torps do 7900 dmg while USN T2 TBs do 8157.

Sure he can... but why would you want to handicap yourself from the beginning by picking RN?
Also note that a good RN player VS a good USN player will most likely end up with little credits because "good" players never engage and always kite... and when both players kite then you aren't really getting anywhere and faster nations (USN IN and MN to some degree) get the upper hand.
