Basically, it looks like I am going to be getting a new monitor as a gift. So far, leaning towards an Asus PA238Q. Did the best research I could but I couldn't find too much in the way of user reviews and the like.

If anyone would like to sway me to look at other monitors that are less that $270 (since it's 300 after taxes).

The website of the store I am most likely going to be buying from;

Full HD 1080
True Resolution: 1920x1080

it got nice I/O ports

try reading some of the pc magazines comments

Nah, I want to try to stay in the 22-24in range. My brother has a 30" with a native resolution of 1920x1200 but it is annoying huge. However, my 18" (1440x900) HP monitor that came with my case is 5-6 years old so something a little bigger would be nice.

I am not completely useless Lukas... though it does sacrifice a bit to gaming for extra eye candy.
