Not event boost, a permanent one, because new players are being turned away from the game because of the high grind.

I'd like to liken it to an investment.

1. Players invest time into their crews.
2. These crews can be rewarding or not rewarding.
3. New players see a very negative perception of the game from the time that they start (high investment time for low payoff)
4. Therefore new players do not invest either money or time into the game.

This ought to be fixed.

Well... if you want even more unskilled players wielding high-level ships, go ahead.

New players won't invest - they will do that once they have a few hundred battles under their belt, some basic skills and the knowledge that the game must have rewards for investment in time and skills.

Do you even know how much time invested a few hundred battles is? Nobody will spend a hundred hours to 'try out' a game.

Are you kidding me? There is no grind anymore. Its very feasible to do the first 20 or so levels in the same ammount of battles without lifting a finger. All we need is more random noobs that dont know what to do with what they have because they never bothered or had time to learn the game before they get their third bb6.

Okay so 20 levels is easy.

That's like what, DD2?

The game is stagnant and boring because new players don't stay. This is caused by the large initial investment required before the game gets interesting.

Level 60 takes several weeks to get to if one plays on a relatively modest schedule.

I swear I have never seen so much hate on new players in any game ever.

I think a fantasy game mode might be more reasonable. You can try different ships with elite crews without affecting your actual crews. Something that gives a taste of things to come and keeps people interested in leveling.

IMO if anything, the premium subscription should be bolstered.

If this was a different type of game where people did quests or something I don't care if people got more
or paid for more EXP etc. But here,if someone gets experience too fast they don't gain "playing exp"
enough. This game tries to balance two teams. If the player in the largest ships are not capable of at
least playing average, then the entire game for everyone on that team is ruined.
When I see the chat in blitzkrieg in this game, too many people believe that if their ship gets higher, then
their ability to succeed will improve as well. That is not my belief. Your own ability must increase with the
size of ship but people just want to quickly get next ship. If it is allowed to do that, then we have far too many
players in ships that cause their team to lose when they are depended upon.
My only argument to agree with suggester is, people are impatient and they will not stay if more exp is given.
Is it worth it though? I don't think so.

So how does experience in a DD/CL translate into experience as a BB?

Tip: It doesn't.

Succeeding in a BB1 requires an abnormally large amount of skill that would NOT be gained in its own tier. The lack of range forces players in lower level ships to rush, a tactic seen as bad. However playing in a line battle is impossible without having similar if not the same range as your opponent.

Thus players are forced to participate in grinds which are both inconducive to what is seen as 'good play' and to the individual fun that the player gets from the game.

This crying about too much exp is simply veterans of the game putting aside the welfare of the game and saying everyone should play the game 24/7.

tl;dr NO FUN ALLOWED

The Exp is on a all times high now. You should have been here in the good old beta days and try just to grin a BB1. Hahaha. Could have two BB6's for the same grind now.
If that didn't scare people away, this wont scare the right people away. It only does on those that want a easy go straight to the finish line game without doing anything for it. You are also aware that there are low level battle rooms... Blitzkrieg.... That are intended to newly hatched players.

If you fall out in the beginning you wasn't very interested in the first place. If you fall out after getting your first nation, you're lazy and wont do shit. If you fall out around CA lvl you wont put the time and effort in to it.
The last one I can respect because it's time consuming I give you that. But it's also one of the best parts of the game.
