I have high level crews in both.

I absolutely hate US and IJN BB3's.

I refuse to use PBB's on any account.

I would get 5 Hyugas before I got another Maryland.

I personally love my Maryland, which I just received with coins yesterday. It's got a lot better spread than the SoDak (even though they use the same guns and FCS), and it's very nice to have a small, mini-monty-like ship with BB3 range that can take a beating. I've heard, and seen, that the Hyuga has good hitting power as well, but I also noticed that it seems to catch shells more easily because of it's larger profile.

It's really more of a matter of preference as to whether you like the US ship profiles or the IJN ship profiles more.

well, I got both US and IJN. I was just trying to figure out which one would be better. I am leaning towards maryland, but I also have a BO in the IJN subline id like to play on a battleship.
