So today I did the sacraficial slaying of the experts. You can use this thread for future reference with the
250% Chrismas time expert to veteran conversion rate boost. Please share your results as well.
Here are mine.

Lvl 87 KM FP
100 experts > 10 vets
100 experts > 10 vets
10% rate and the pilot went from 138 vets to 158 vets


Lvl 87 KM FP
100 experts > 10 vets
100 experts > 0 vets
100 experts > 10 vets
6.67% and went from 138 to 158 vets

Lvl 87 KM FP
100 experts > 20 vets
100 experts > 10 vets
15% rate and went from 140 vets to 170 vets

Lvl 83 KM FP
100 experts > 0 vets
100 experts > 0 vets
80 experts > 10 vets
3.57% rate. From 130 to 140 vets

Lvl 87 KM FP
100 experts > 20 vets
100 experts > 10 vets
100 experts > 0 vets
10% rate. Went from 100 vets to 130vets

Lvl 87 KM FP
100 experts > 20 vets
100 experts > 0 vets
100 experts > 0 vets
6.67% rate. Went from 100 to 120 vets

Lvl 96 UK Engineer
100 experts > 20 vets
100 experts > 0 vets
100 experts >10 vets
10% rate. Went from 110 vets to 140 vets

Of the 1,980 experts sailors who took the test, only 170 survived to be promoted to veterans.
This represents a 8.84% pass rate. Please mourn the loss of these brave NavyField sailors who lost
their lives. After so much death of my experts, I had to stop this seemingly sensless sacrafice. 

Note: Fourtunately I did not have to pay a dime to replace these experts since I have been saving
expert pack boost since previous year and doing AA runs. Also I never paid a dime to get those FPs
either.

Overall I suppose 250% is a better conversion rate than previous events, but 8.84% yield was still a
little low for my liking. Now I play for free, so perhaps I shouldn't complain. For those of you who have
premium, are you guys approach 10% ?

The actual rate is somewhere between 1% and 3% for sailors of sufficiently high level and 80+ vets. And, I believe, it continues to decline as the sailor is higher level and with more vets.

You got nearly 9% conversion.

I'm not sure if you are complaining or not...but, if we assume 3% success rate, it looks like you got, at least, 250% of that.

i burned a little over 8000 experts and ended up getting 10 vets for every 150 experts burned. now sometimes i would get 30 out of 50 burned but at other times i would kill 300 and get nothing.
but i found in getting a particular salor from 199 to 269 the rate did not drop and was the same as other saliors going from 100-130. this may just be luck? who knows, im not complaining btw.

The Fourth of July is typically the best conversion rate. I don't remember what it was advertised as this year, but I logged my attempts.

Sailors between level 99 and 120, starting with between 80 and 139 vets, I converted 49 out of 587 - a whopping 8.35%.

That was FANTASTIC. Anything over 8% on 100/100 (level/veterans) sailors is glorious. Soak it up.

so it means this season event veterans conversion is useless to higher level sailors (level 80 up to 120)...

This might be the closest depiction of my actual results, although, in my eyes it seems that i may have had about 25-50% less success rate than this. So everyone can be happy now that they know they did much better than me!
