From what I understand if the ship is outside the border it should not be able to use its guns at all. Perhaps he is popping in and out like the old days? Have you submitted a ticket about this yet? On a personal note, very bad form in my opinion, I do not support this play style at all.

While it's an exploita, no doubt about that, it might be in the gray area.

I'm not sure if the not-being-able-to-fire guns is only while you are counting down for the retreat, or while you're in the shadows. And as the north border retreata area is far too far north, you might still be able to fire your guns from the shadows.

I'm not a nor ever was a north border humper so the change to the border area's never really affected me, so I'm not too sure about the changes since they were quite a while ago.

But this being NF, the code for the not-firing-guns from shadows might have been changed without notice at any time.

I can asure you the south border still works though, almost ran off the map there last week and couldn't fire my guns while counting down for the retreat.

did encounter this exploit or haxxx when gb2 is still alive... but got no video to support my report =.= sigh,

story goes: my team (alpha win north while bravo win south) but alpha is losing but north is clear and no islands in the borders... when i was sunk as last bb i thought the game is over but not... i tried to look where my last team mate cause not found on the minimap lol, i check the north border in the shadow our flag ship cruising at the north border lol hiding
