Well, your title and text are contradictory.

In the title you ask : removing the plane warning for friendly ships.
I'm quite sure your scout doesn't warn you for the friendly ships in his sight range ( otherwise my scout would say that message everytime I launch it at the beginning of the battle ...

But I think that sometimes, my scout warns me of an enemy ship in sight, even if he's a bit out of the sight range.(let's pretend for the convenience that your scout have a much bigger sight range that the one he actully gives you)

For the "plane sighted" issue, I never heard it. Always "Enemy plane in sight" when they're is actually an ennemy plane in the sight range of your FCS (or just an enemy plane seeing you, don't know at all)

This is sole based on my observations, so I might be wrong ... Maybe there's a bug every once in a while for you (we are speaking of NF after all ...)

I'm pretty sure the OP is talking about when a cv launches a flight of planes and you get spammed with the air air air aircraft in sight. I agree its annoying as piss.

Thats funny... my game has never yelled "Aircraft in sight" when my teammates launch planes.

You guys do realize that (depending on your sight range) you can spot enemy planes like 4 QV-lengths away from your ship, right? Either that or do you have extended sounds on or something?
