Both are very nice to play. The Le Havre is realy a beast. but km is also nice.

The most overpowered EBB2 we have now in NF is Le Havre.

Do not complain if there are changes later.

The Le Havre is a decent ship, was better but is still all right, has bb4 support slots on it. same goes for the gnei1943 which can carry bismarck dual 15" guns with about 5 binds per turret on the L's it's also a good ship and has if i remember correctly bb4 support slots. both are good but if your going to level MN then get the le havre it's a fun ship worth having.

Especially if your already close to the german bb3, because either the bismarck or the O-Pro2 are great bb3's but if you are going bismarck line you could always get the german ebb2 since it has one more support slot over the bismarck.

The Le Havre takes a better hit than the gnei1943, it can carry 4 quads, go 42 knots or as some people like to AW the le havre, personally i don't but some like less speed more armor.

The Gnei1943 is fast, small hit box, good AA, rapid fire guns, decent spread, good hitting power and all around a good rushing bb with the angle 30 guns it gets.

It really is a tough call imo but that all depends on what you are really looking for, a assistant for your current german stuff or something you can't use right now but will have later for use that you still will have to level to 65 before you can even enjoy it, plus the Le Havre's FCS is horrible, even with a 100+ BO that is BVE you have to put full rookies on it to even have the guidelines meet where the shells actually land.

In the end i would pick the gnei1943 but thats just me.

Well, would an O pro II perform better than the gnei1943?

My thoughts are that after getting to BB3 I won't feel nearly as useless, and getting an EBB2 for MN will mean I won't have to go through the BB2 grind again.

All depends on the player, the O-Pro2 has better AA than the bismarck but farther spacing apart than the Gnei1943, is slower than the Gnei with slightly less range but it carries 3 triple 15" guns instead of 3 dual 15" guns. Both ships are extremely good for rushing and the O-Pro2's spread will be meh at level while the Gnei's may be slightly better due to using dual guns instead of trips.

It's fully up to you, they both hit hard and can dodge incoming fire easily plus carry a lot of scouts, although if you already have the O-Pro 2 ebb3 then get the Le Havre but thats only if you got 1 ebb3 already if not you could get the Gnei now and give you another ship to enjoy when you need to level more german crew.

The level of the ship does not always matter it can come down to the skill of the player as well, just because your in a bb2 does not mean your useless. it is harder at lower level but you mostly have to play as the support role, let the bigger bb's shell each other and try to sneak a couple salvos in.

How is the MN BB1-3 grind in comparison to the KM grind? And when do you suppose would be the next chance for a Le Havre? Next christmas probably? Or maybe summer...

I have the LeHavre. I have a KM BB line @ lvl 80 w/ EBB3. My suggestion for your coins is:

-Go with the LeHavre. Then spend (5$ + 2 months of forum attendance= 150 olives total) to buy the KM PBB.

- The Km PBB is well worth the $$ and will really help you lvl through the 65-80 range. Much better than the Geni EBB would help and they have same support slots. The MN PBB is not that great but the LeHavre is really good for lvls 65-80.
