Battleships were far from useless. The problem was that if someone could shoot a missle from halfway around the world and take it out in one shot, it'd be a waste of resources. It still did it's job quite effectively until it was retired.

But regardless, this is a game that revolves around multiple forms of Naval combat including battleships. Is it as true to reality as you'd hope? No.

Is is as realistic as you'd hope? No.

Is it still fun regardless? Yes.

Over time, you learn to accept that reality doesn't make a very 'fun' game, because nothing about war was 'fun'.

Making a suggestion based on real life, like we dont have enough of those.
