I agree that subs are not OP.

I do not agree that subs are balanced.

In NF, all ships are given "a second chance".

BBs have the ability to repair. As most BBs don't get oneshotted/crippleshotted, you can go back into the battle for a second attempt to do something later.

CVs have waves of planes. Each wave is a new opportunity.

For SS though, not only can it "one shot" BBs and CVs, it is also fragile to the point where HH/DC regularly oneshots it. There is also no progression of ASW. A lv 90 ship should have better ASW weapons than a lv 12 ship, but they're stuck to HH, PHH, DC, etc.

Thus comes the problem of unbalance in my opinion.

I think this is being blown way out of proportion, as the splash doesn't do much damage unless you go full retard and put no bulge on.

The main thing is situational awareness.
