In the general discussion area all of the post's appear in white except three.

The olive revision and rough plans for 2012 are in green.

The community manager thread is in yellow.

What do the color's represent and why am I unable to see the community manager thread?

He is probably talking about the title. I use Firefox and see those you listed exactly like you described them. If im not wrong these threads were made by TNF and they probably gave them a different colour to make them stand out.
