Because no one likes that idiot who just launches his torpedoes without looking into a bunch of friendlies.
My ideas? Make it so whatever damage they do to you is inflicted to them. For example, say some destroyer desides to get up close and torpedo a target. Without paying attention, he fires right into the path of another oncoming friendly. Normally, all that would happen would be an extremely pissed off player and a DD in denial, but if every time a torpedo hit, instead of damage being inflicted on the unfortunate friendly, it would be taken out on the DD. it would solve all our problems with team killing, and actually teach those torping noobs some skill.

Please offer constructive criticism, instead of blatant "that's stupid" comments or trolling posts.

I would go on your server, get in a dd, and sit on top of you until the change was reversed

The problem this causes is where you have a responsible torper who has his torps run by a fictorying
player who just wants to die to get shared XP. Then there would be idiots that do it on purpose to see
others get punished or not make common sense adjustments to avoid friendly torps because it does
them no harm.

Anyway the tker already has his XP reduced.

I searched "tk" derp. read through them, your exact idea has been suggested before. Rejected because of what Eradicator said. Why do you assumes it is always the TKer's fault?

So I'm in blitz and the idiots driving left suddenly swere and go right, after I launch my torps. The idiot DD slams into 2 of them and he does not get penalized for being an idiot and suddenly I'm sunk.

I would just like to point out that this is a "tactical simulation game" and there is no tactic for anything like that with explosions being transfered to another ship.

I won't call you stupid and flame. I'll just say that this is an unrealistic idea for both the tactics simulation as well as the playability piece.

the damage inflicted back to the enemy shouldnt be enough to kill them leave them at 1HP
