Makes sense. Unfortunately no one at SDE gives a damn about balance. Just look at the test server forum, the PLAYERBASE has to deal with the balance (not even getting paid i assume) and then send the data to SDE who only has to change a few numbers. On top of that it still takes FOREVER to get anything done (H44 guns still havent been fixed in like 5 years).

proxiy torp are the km's ss perk
and the km torpedo is one of the weaker torps in game
ijn mn and sn have more powerful torps and the same or more # of torpedolunchers

it makes no defference what type of ss is hunting u if the player that use it knows what to do
and uses the endrun detonation and wil have a bigger splash dammage them km proxy

only on way to fix this remove all proxy and endrun detonation on all torps
these include ss tb and shiplunchers ( kita torps )

then remove the dud's on all torp's so what u aim at wil hit and not go unther your target whithout exploding
but this is way to hard to chance for sde the same as it is to change the shared exp for ss

defo need to nerf the rate of proxy torp.
i do agree seeing a lot noob sub torp randomly (not even shoot on target) but still sunk ships, thanks proxy, it makes you can play without skills

and increase the dud of ijn torp rate, now its about 50% maybe a bit higher

Yes! please do some type of balancing with the proxy torps! they give km ss a HUGE and unfair advantage against other ss. and anyone that says it is balanced because km torps are weaker against ships is just plain wrong because practically km torps will never dud which allows every torp to do damage while any other ss, even with higher damage stat-wise, will cause less damage to the ship because their torps will dud.

and oh phh needs a little nerf too, they arent terrible the way they are now but do deserve a slight nerf imo

YES! ^^ i pretty much agree with everything jnj said but would like to add that proxies do give km ss another advantage in that they do not have to aim accurately, many times in ss vs ss fight the fight turns into a head on, ss pointing towards eachother, where the target becomes very small and slim and many times a non-proxy torps will miss barely and do no damage while a poorly aimed km proxy will miss by half an inch and still do tons of damage-- not fair, km ss requires no skill
