If we're going as far as changing line colors to eliminate an accidental firing on a friendly, why wouldn't we just take it a step further and not allow those guns that have red lines to fire. It happens from time to time, where someone crosses me or vice versa and one fire eliminates all my exp, I would have preferred that my guns decline the firing and i keep my exp. Just an idea, didn't see this previously discussed.
