  • Best MN AA boat?

Well...topic says all actually.. Whats the best MN AA boat? I'm having a blast with the Emden and Moltke for the KM line, but whats the MN equivalent?
I've looked at the Reynauld, but its horribly expensive when compared to (let say) the Emden.. (like 300% more expensive) And i dont know if i also want to fork out money for a  Mandel.. :S

Any suggestions? (preferrably in the DD/CL/CA range...only at Courbet lvl atm.. ;))

reynaud price will be nerf down to 110k or something after the mn/sn patch this july

i don't play aa on dd, reynaud and mandel is nice to be a dedicated aa ship

After the patch all CA will make good AA boats.

For T and R-slot AA.

T-slot for scout hunting with the 3.5", R-slot for bomber killing with the new 5.1"quad.

courbet did have buff in t slot space (86) but still can't mount the 5.1s, the quad consume 108 space :P, the 5.1 duals can be mounted but you'll get low shell space

If you have High level gunners, running a mandel with the 5.1 " premium quads is fun. You shoot most of the stuff out of the air in a salvo

I use 34 with rather good success.

With nice Gunners on R slots of Mandel, you can put high calibre gunners (AA) on em, gets down whole squadrons.
T slots not bad too.

you haven't seen the power of 5.1"s on riche :D, 5.1" dual on small slots and 3 quad on the big ones, same GA same with alsace, 5.1" duals all around the slot
