  • AFK HOST REMOVAL function

All of us can agree this is probably one of the most aggravating things in this game, so i came up with what i feel could potentially be a viable function to add to the game to deal with an AFK Host, if this a function that we would like to see implemented, vote for it. if you have an idea to modify what i have outlined or feel something should be added, feel free to make a suggestion and if it has merit i'll edit accordingly.



 If the host is AFK or unresponsive after the room has satisfied usual requirements
(20/6 ~ 120%ish) then any one player has the option to start a vote to change hosts to the player that would inherit the room if the host left.


This function would only become available after the usual requirements (20/6/120%) are met

to start the process it would be a simple button toggle, (initiate host remove)

once the process is initiated an all chat message would be auto created to vote

players would respond something to something the affect of:
 /w no (for not remove)
OR /w yes (for remove) 

The vote could also be a simple click yes or click no 

the yes/no function would always be present in the bottom of the chat window, but greyed out untill a vote is initiated

Once 10 yes votes are collected a 10 second countdown begins giving the original host a chance to still start the game.

After 10 seconds the hosting duties changes to the player that entered 2nd on the player list, the original host would get auto retreated from the battle upon start of battle 
(the 30 second countdown for not controlling your ship) still want to give the original host an option to still if they return from there trip to AFK land

could be a viable easy add on, and as well to avoid abuse of a remove host, just because someone doesnt like a player the following rules of use (or something like this)

guidelines for initiating removal of host:

1. 20BB/6cv or 120%

2. any one player can only use the "initiate host remove" function once per hour (dictated
    by server time) so as to eliminate abuse of function

3. if a player is removed from hosting duties more than 3 times in any one 24 hr period, 
    they will be removed from the server (auto disconnect) and upon re-log will not be able
    to host a room in the battle area for 24 hrs (dictated by server time)

Nothing against the idea, but why not:

1) fix autostart so loaders don't break it
2) make autostart go after the room has been at max BB/CV for something like 30 seconds
3) if a host's rooms autostart too much, they can't host rooms for x amount of time (and if they're set to replace a host who left, it skips them)

And no matter how it goes, no on the 120% part. There's enough waiting already, plus see my suggestion on the experience gain %.

agreed for the most part. maybe though, if the autostart (assuming that they actually try to fix it some day), doesn't kick in after 2nd or 3rd attempt, the game would automatically pass the room ownership on to the next person in the room, so that that person can start the game (assuming, again, that this person isn't afk or idle as well).
