  • Disallow low-tier CVs from carrying high-tier planes.

While the aircraft space is supposed to be the preventive measure against people who use T4 FTs on their CV1, some clever players retrieve their planes before they finally run out of fuel.

The objective is to nuke out the imbalance that will be created in a room by this. Giving a scenario; someone with level 120 FTs used USN T4 FT on his CV1. The rest of the room has CV3s-4s with at level FTs.

Jajaja?

I run my essex with all level 100 fighters...Only because my BO cannot use a higher level ship. Sometimes people need to level so they use high level sailors on low level boats they lose alot of advantage.

It's no different than running 4x elite bve lv80+ supports on a BB1/2/3. Spend the time/money you shouldn't have to not use your crew. Just be glad high level FP's arn't destroying everything in T2's anymore.

I meant using high-tier planes, not high-tier pilots.

It's wrong to use end-game content on low-tier ships, most especially since the game balances the ship tier, not the plane tier on the ship itself.

Just imagine what if the host started with two CV1s only, one has at-level fighters and the other has T4 fighters.

Although not directly related, this is similar to the old (P)CV5/6 + high-level pilot + T1 fighter exploit.

I use T4's on my essex(79 ship 100ftrs). I would use them on my bogue because the mustangs rip almost everything apart. When want personal creds and have a sailor in the level range you need to powerlevel thats what you do.

I do the same thing and have while leveling my bombers, I have 2 lv59DB's I run in my yorktown with nothing but mustangs on deck. Bombers on gun slots.

Just remember if you see a quad gold CV in any type of CV its a good idea to go to the other side of the map lol.

Not saying anything, but (especially on Kaiser) what about hosts starting with two CV5s, one with at-level fighters and the other with level 45 locals?

Oh, oh, I have an idea! Disallow low-tier BBs from blockshotting with high level gunners. Reasonable enough.

Although your argument seems to make sense, it actually flies in the face of actual game play.

Option 1:
Let's just say I have a PCV with some L110 Elite FPs and Bmbrs.  On the PCV I can launch 11 planes and carry over a hundred of them.  My durability during attack is decent, and I've got guns and armor and a big fat engine.

Option 2:
Now, Let's take my planes and BO and move to a CV1-2-3-4 and do the same thing.  I have fewer aircraft elevators/lifts, I have fewer support slots, the ship is vulnerable to attack and provides less value to the team...though I do carry T4s...just not as many.

So why would anyone want to go with Option 2?
The only logical reason is to use the lower level ship to help a lower level sailor the player is trying to uplevel.  Having a bunch of L70 sailors on a L105 PCV does not generate sufficient exp.

Is this is fix for a non-problem?

There is no 'high lvl KM AA', the highest level AA guns for KM are level 48 which are nicely at level with the Moltke.

Maybe it would be better to restrict certain planes to ships, like locals.

CV1/CV2:- T1
CV2/CV3:- T2
CV3/CV4/CV5:- T3
CV4/CV5/PCV:- T4
CV6:- T6

Would give more of an incentive over planespace and a bit of loadout/plane slot advantage.
