  • Have a fun bb5 6" gun trouny ^^

I have this wierd idea where it can be exemtrly (forgive my spelling) fun time ^^. The idea is smiply i suggest that TNF have a bb5 trouny with only useing 6" guns and below and let everyone just go nuts on each other xD. In this trouny we'll find out the champions of bb5's with 6" guns ^^. He/She'll get a pat on the back ^^ for winning. I only suggest we have this once a year it'll be a fun idea to have. Be a break away from a players long grind and getting killed with big guns each game ^^. *cough*no rm ships allow*cough*. Plus this is where we could also have some REAL fun with you TNF ^^. Have all the players on the severs vs you using bb5's with 6" guns and below only xD. Im sure this would be fun for you as well TNF. I do have very much respect for you ^^. So yah this is my idea i hope there'll be postive feedback and only uber awesome comments ^^. But if this does happen ill give you the rules. ^^

sounds like it would be a blasty blast but i can bet there would be a BUTT TON of lagging afoot plus using my km lv85 boosted gunners as example me using the km 5.9trips the reload is crasy fast plus i fire off nice tightly nit clusters. with a BB1 and up(still using km as example) with the 5.9 trips would hold well over 15? binds of ammo lol...but with say a H44 would jus be retarded lol but i would like for something like this tho and maybe more then once a year

I agree. Sounds really fun, but it would take forever. With my BVE KM gunners, the lvl 31 5.9" trips only took about a second and a half to fire, and that was low level. They'd be like AA gunners now. Weird idea, but I'd think it'd be funny to see KM pwn everyone with six inch rain.

everyone loves a tourney, but I've done 6inch battles before in my Fleet for Fleet Events and eventually with the belt a bb5 has room for, you'd never actually be able to kill anyone, no matter how much ap/heavy you had. With BB3s I've done it with a 15 inch limit, and it would still take all day. Then we had also tested 22 inches on a Bismarck and it was actually impossible to kill with 6inch guns. 

Just a heads up, we had no lag (but that can differ for anyone), the guns capped reload pretty reasonably, and on the BB3s there was room for about 70+ binds (depending on ship). 

Gotta say though, I imagine if you did this with BB2s (as much as everyone would prefer their BB3s) it would probably be pretty great too; BB3s like that were a blast! Like a high-level Blitz! (strongly suggest no torps/HH...)

lol ii wouls love to join something like this lol i'd be using my nassau....tho each gun would be packing 1,700 shells and that's with the 5.9 L trips :) and nassau hav 6 main guns :)

Dude, if you're in a friggin' BB6 (heck, even in my Colorado I can carry at least 17" of belt), and you pack all the belt you can, there's no chance of sailor death.

Another rule i was hopeing to have is that there would be NO ARMOR! Just let ur SD do all the work guys ^^ so that way it don't take FOREVER to kill each other but still take awhile ^^ Plus by the time your at a BB5 you should have 900 SD anyway ^^ so it kind of acts like 5"-10" of armor for a short time ^^

Also since all nations have access to trips so i hope the ijn 6.1 trips are fine to use. Put em on my fuso and kill u all. hehe:)
