I think for the midwest people a better place would be WI/IL because saint louis mo/ky are both kinda ghetto :P

California here, I was thinking if we can get one togther in LA and the SF bay area, that would be awesome. 

I did one of these at a gaming convention once. We had approx. 25 people playing. :D

Awesome idea! Won't work for me since I'm one of a few (and distantly spaced) Canadian players but if I could I absolutely would. I could even see it going a step further.

Anyone like the idea of a wordwide LAN party?

Figure a date, possible internet cafes for major cities, we could have localized LAN v LAN battles to see who has the best players in the world xD. It would be an awesome viral marketing boost if the mods joined in on this too, monitoring groups (even if by state etc), registration and prizes! We all play this game interacting via computer screens (at best voice chat), but I think it would be cool for players to connect both locally and internationally. =)
