Just a suggestion but what if damage is not visible to the enemy but only to your team members?

It's already been done on flagships where you can't see how much damage they have.

It would add a little more excitement not knowing if the ship in front of you is either in full strength or about to blow up.

I'm sure the subs would hate this just cause they don't want to waste 5 torps on a L2 @ 1000DP xP

Only the Flag can see their DP, not the enemy or their team. Experienced players can see two key signs of a damaged/crippled ship even without the DP to some this wouldn't make much of a difference.

On a side note, who needs to remove sight of the DP, its not like we see through all the smokes right now anyways lol.

It would be interesting to see as an option just like "no escorts" or "no torps"... it would add something to that battle.
