I am relativly new to Germany and am curently at a Geneusie almost to bisi, i know that german ships are good for sling shooting but i am unfamiliar with what it is much less how to do it.  If any one can give me the basics or direct me to a form that will give me the info it would be very helpfull, i already did a few quick searches that came up with nothing.

thank you

On a score of 1-10, KM may get a 10 in range, everyone else is 8-9, meanwhile, everyone else is 6-10 in damage inflicting and/or taking while km is like 1 in both. Either boost KM shell damage, damage resistance or nerf everyone elses range.

Wrong. Slinging effectiveness depends on MORE than just the move, but also turn-rate, speed, static range (obviously) and the gun position compared to the middle.

KM shines in the last two. Notice how the H44 is long, with guns very off center. While it leads to people trying to full salvo while in a 45 angle to their target to fail miserably, the range you gain as an H44 while slinging is more than the range you'll gain as an alsace, which is much shorter.

It is very possible to full salvo an L2 and not take any damage in a linefight. And the H44 can easily twoshot any BB5 in that game. more firepower would just allow you to miss more of your shells. And as I've often stated, KM ask of the player more than the other nations, but in the end offers incredible BBs when played to their full potential.

I don't fear: H44

And wrong again. Mainly, most people lack the skill to use the H44 correctly, which is why most of those you encounter in GB are easy food.

The one you listed as "I fear" are simply the BBs that even a monkey that got taught to spam the space bar randomly would be somewhat dangerous with.

But a skilled H44 player will eat Monties and Alsace should they attempt to linefight it.

Again, do not blame the ship for your average player's shortcoming with it.

while i whine alot which is just me being pessimistic whiney depressed emo the H44 needs some work but aingeal is right ive 2 shotted several bbs mostly montys and even some L2s with some major crits full salvo its all in your position really unfourtunately many people know h44s weaknesses and as it only has a couple strengths.. its wuite easy to kill h44 with a sevas with a ok crew even some plus 9s the big thing about km is to trick them into your range if you feel like your getting pwned pull back a bit reposition yourself and get used to missing alot cause you really dont wanna hit anything except while slinging if they rush your screwed unless its one on one which in case counter rush laern all your angles go on missions and practice angles while running and slinging aswell practice makes perfect find someone good and play with them and be patient to fire cause alot of ships pull back when you start to sling

Slingshotting shouldn't be something you start to do. You should constantly be jiggling your ship, this will give you the best shooting range at all times and will also provoke the enemy to make a move. Remember - you always have extra range when retreating.

  1. no, u don,t sling with your bb2 u sling with bsm, h39 h44only
  2. when u sling, u need to keep slinging in a correct pattern.
  3. if u cannot start slinging correctly, u start with a fake sling first

Opro, Scharn, and Gne are all perfectly suited for slinging shells.

No, Please don't sling shoot on bb6 like QV, kaiser or nerbby with O pro

If you have a chance to shoot at them, please run straight away after that

with O pro's speed, u lead SY and shoot at him directly

with O pro range, u don't sling shoot on any other bb1-3 of other nation.

Please reconsider that

Slinging was (unfortunately) something I learned very late in my NF career. My first BB line was the UK Nelson line, so slinging wasn't an option. Eventually I did a Hood BO and that was the ship I learned to front gun/rear gun - it was very effective, KM isn't the only nation to use this tactic.

My advice for learning this is to just give it a try. I'd suggest a small and rugged BB or CA to use while you learn the technique. Don't worry at first about maximising your range, just get used to firing your front and rear guns separately and learn how to manuvre your ship to make this effective. Just pick some SS or little ships rushing the middle as practise targets. Front gun, rear gun, front gun, rear gun... until you're used to playing that way.

Once you get used to firing your guns independently you will find that maximising your range comes naturally - it's just about practising your keystrokes so you can fire when the time is right.
