Hello Guys,

i got my 3rd CV now US, lvl 75 BO and lvl 70 FTRS/DBS

I got 6 FT 11/11 base no boost etc.
And 2 DB Elites, no boost.

they all have about 50 vets.

now i my question.

Should i get new crew?
Start over with full boost?

Cus im just lvl 70 now i can easily do that..
and dont wanna waste my time on nothing less than the best.

Some people say elite ftrs others say 11/11 is fine etc.

plz give your expertise about this.

p.s. sorry about my crappy eng (im dutch)

ability caps say on gunners is , the max ability they can have even if you add more vets, levels, boosts, ect.

+11 acc gunner with 109 vets will yield the same perfomance as a +13  with all the vets you can put on him, after they both reach the correct level per nation.

this is current and excepted terminology for "capped sailor ability". this means they can add ability/vets/boost/ect, without an increase in performance, because they have hit the cap.

this is not true of ftrs.

+13 ftr with 259 vets at level 120 will far out perform a +12 with 109 vets at level 120, therefor, ftrs do not have an ability cap.

 

please stop trying to mislead people it is not nice.

You stop trying to mislead people. I told you its a very high cap. He doesnt mean you literally have to max out the fighter in every way, but you have to have elite and boost, a lotf of vets and a lot of experts for them to cap. Not full, but alot. And thats not to say that the cap is only reached at 120 either.

What? I definatly did not say that adding vets increases the overall fighter ability cap, you need to clean up your computer screen or your glasses/eyes. +12 might be able to reach the cap, i don't know it seems like a longshot, with elite boosted you will definatly hit the cap with the right amount of vets. 



please stop twisting my words around it is not nice.

There is only one stat for each type of pilot that matters in terms of aircraft performance.

 

AIRCRAFT = Scout pilots

FIGHTER = Fighter pilots

BOMBER = Bomber pilots

 

For example, Scout offense and scout defense is both controlled by the AIRCRAFT ability.

offense is capped defense is not capped....... wrong, right now niether is capped. it was like this before the CV patch but now fighters have no cap period.

chic,,,, i wasn't twisting your words. there is no ftr cap. get over it. a +12 will never cap, a 100% evbe will never cap, a hero sailor will never cap. a modded ftr pilot will never cap.

I have no idea why,but I seem to want to get a DB whore in USN more than a FP whore

My support sailor slots are filled with pilots

3 DB 1 TB 2 FP 

And two ide pilots sitting in my HQ (Both DB)

Medics are not needed anymore since the Vet death for lost planes is gone. You might want to replace him with a repairer or engineer.
Otherwise it's a valid setup.
