Actually Poland had
- 4 DDs (two very large destroyer leaders built in GB, two based on the French Bourasque type, with two more of a new design under construction in Poland), later in the war a few more followed (a MN Bourasqe class Ouragan, N-class, M-class, H-class and three Hunt's)
- Minelayer was actually a small CL (not classed that way because of crapy speed, still armed as a Light Cruiser and keeping in size with CL), later in war PN got 2 CL (English D-class, Dragon and Conrad (ex Danae)
- 5 subs (two very large, ocean going, modern, dutch build - delivered summer 1939, dubbed "Gangut killers" as their role was to sink SN BB's before they reach Polish coast (2 more ordered in france in enlarged version, three submarine mine-layers), later PN was offered three more subs of american and british design

additionaly Royal Navy wanted Poles to take over large portion of the interned then French Navy (with BB Paris at the top) because Poles were used to french equipment widely used on polish ships before the outbreak of war.

You are meant to be forum banned altsein, yet you keep going around it.

Wow, I never knew we had CVs until your post prompted me to go look that up.

I'd be pretty happy just to have another ship line at the DD/CL level tacked on to the RN and a RCN nation whose sailors would be allowed to serve with RN crews, ie. not actually having an entire new nation/port/ship tree to balance since the effort wouldn't be worth creating such a similar nation to RN.

If, you know, they wanted to toss me a bone. Lol. I don't see it adding anything interesting to the game.



More on topic, I'm not so hot on the idea of a mercenary navy.

Canada and Australia mostly fought alongside UK. Australia had a few battle of its own in the pacific tough.

As far as canada goes, ASW escort of convoy was its navy role, and thats bout it.

Yeah that's mostly what I thought. But reading about the CV1/2 made me do a little digging, and I found out about the HMCS Bonaventure, the light fleet carrier purchased from the UK in '52. Apparently she served for 23 years, but never saw combat.
