Chaosticket

Its turret arcs are terrible making it difficult to line up its guns on the same target, and Impossible as close range.

Its 3 frontal and 3 rear slots have only about 225degree arc of fire rather than the 270-320degree they should have. So its hard to line up the guns and leaves a massive gap in the central sides

The 2 side R-slots have a 135degree arc of fire, when they should have about 180degree arc.
===================added

Now Ive stated the facts that the Atlanta class has unusually small fire arcs.

Then I stated what weaknesses this provides to the Atlanta and its remodels. For any ship a small arc would be a problem, but on close range and anti-aircraft ships its a much greater problem.

I believe this unusual weakness was placed on the Atlanta , Juneau, and Oakland as a poor attempt to counter the raw number of anti-aircraft guns they can carry. Thats not in itself what you could call "fair", especially compared to 2 non-canon AA ships, the Emden and Emerald.

The Emden can carry 8 Rslot weapons, and 6 of which can fire on a target at any one time. the Emerald can carry 7 main slot weapons and fire 6 on the same target. Those 2 non-tech tree ships both have much better firing arcs than GENUINE anti-aircraft ships. Only at longer range can the Atlanta class fire more than 4 of its guns, and the remodels actually mount less guns.

=========================

Raise, no FIX the Atlanta, Juneau, and Oakland firing arcs. Its reasonable Im not asking for increased weapon space, more weapons slots, or anything other than giving the firing arcs to what they should already have.

Billme

make all the ships the same.

on a serious note. what if we had fleet leagues that were nation specific.
