  • Elite ACC Gunners - Are they good for anyone?

The title ^^ - it seems like the nations I've read about (KM, RN) don't want elite ACC gunners. Indeed, they would rather avoid elite gunners altogether. Does anyone use elite acc gunners?

I ask because I'm trying to work out if any of the starter packs are good, but I don't want to buy just for like 2/6 sailors. The restorer is useless in both CV and BB packs, but the SS pack has 3 elite Pot sailors, and I gather you only really want one, for a planesman? Obviously, you can use the others for BOs in normal ships, but I read in the KM forums you'd generally rather have lower pot so you can keep more experts on your BO anyway.

Are any of the packs good? And crucially, does anyone use elite acc gunners?

Classing USN main gunners REL/REL/REL provides you with an extra dose of wax with your red crayons. The reload cap for USN is faaaaaaaar before accuracy.

Well since the reload cap is aprox 2.7-2.8M true ability, and the Accuracy cap is around 1.45M true ability for all nations gunners. If you were to take a pair of lets just say 25acc/25rld gunners they will hit the Acc cap many levels before they will get to the Rld cap.  

Would you mind explaining to the rest of us why you think the reload cap for USN is faaaaaaaar before the accuracy cap?
