Perhaps now are just the bad "flash mob" times wich deffinetly will pass sooner or later.  
Maybe not the best words but i haven't readed many english books to find the correct ones for this case, i think the name of the country can be replaced wit any other without losing the main idea. (Captain Blood by Sabatini Rafael,  Arabella Bishop was saying to him:

"The country is all, sir; the sovereign naught. King James will pass; others will come and pass; England remains, to be honourably served by her sons, whatever rancour they may hold against the man who rules her in their time."  

Without the citats, i think, all the great countries can survive any storm, the question is just how much damage it will do in the end.
While in U.S. are still left  the wise people wich can judge by reading (books&history) and make their own conclusions based on their life knowledge  - it will remain the great country. Just don't lose the hope "Piracy".

 

America - a great country and a country of great achievements. But the people who run your country today do not realize what they are doing. In the 20th century my country - the Soviet Union for its aggressive foreign policy called the "evil empire." And today is absolutely identical to American policy towards other countries is called "democracy." This "democracy" in Ukraine is hands of the Nazis such as Somx.
