assuming vetting all of them to 200. max vet is below 300, however, unimaginable.

Just a question on the above:

How much will that cost?

How many games both with and without paying for Premium? How many conversion attempts to achieve 200 Vets that failed?  Where did I get all the experts?  Did I earn them or pay for them? Did I pre-load the first 100 vets on NF gifts? Did i use a gift sailor boost or pay for it?  How many experts are expended attempting to attain 200 vets and at what level did it work best?

Please let me know, because I can blow through thousands of experts and nary get 10 or 20 vets out of the deal.

As for my fps. At the start of the recently concluded Christmas Vet Conversion Boost Event, my fighters are at 180vets all, they were at level 115, I was able to vet cap them at 250 using less than 60 x 100 experts. Then at the New Year Vet Conversion Event, I spent about 300 experts on each of them to bring them to 260vets. I have 6 fighter pilots.

I had premium subscription when I converted them during the Vet % event.

I decided to be patient with this crew, and suprisingly patience probably saved me 100's of dollars.

I had 8 US hero delay classed Ftrs with 1 Hero seaman.

I AA'd them all to about lvl 70-80, they all earned about 2-300 vets that way. I then rolled for the first 4 times for vets and used free event vets to get them to 100 vets each.

I spent $40 in combination with free event experts to get them all to about 190 vets.

I never converted any vets unless there was a 300% vet conversion event and at that time I bought 3 days prem with the free olives.

I don't believe level effects vet conversions, only the amount of vets you have, so i levelled them all to 120. The next 2 events (including this one) provided me with about 10,000 experts.

7 pilots now at 260 max vet cap, 1 at 250, seaman at 190 still.

Some pilots cost me 1000 vets to max vet cap from lvl 120 with 190 vets, others cost me 3,400 vets to max vet cap.

You're looking at an average of about 2000 experts per pilot to get from 190 vets to 260 vets. (and thats with prem at 300% conversion rate((or so they tell us :)) )

My supporties at 800-900 recuit can usually get to 200 vet.
my scouts and delayed pilots (650 crews) usually get to 170 vet.
I have no patience at all.

If you spend the 7 hero sailors this way:
4 RN delayed engineer 200 bve (give you 47% OH)
2 RN delayed gunner 200 bve (grind a sailor to 120)
1 RN scout 200 bve
1 BO (make it light)

fill the remaining slot with empty sailors, so that crew weight below 3263 tons,
you will get a 25-42 QV

same hard conversion in vetting CV crews.
but it is different to move 42 in normal/GB/HA from waw room.

(P.S. I have one set of BB crews vetted 250-300 and one CV set 170-200 vetted. I know exactly how hard it is. It don't perform extraordinary)

With real CV play, I mean serious cv drivers, that base stay won't make the differance, it's all about controlling your planes and moving them properly. I have heros and elites and lvl 90 neut cv crews and I see no diff when playing, I just wreck everything XD. 30% crew 70% skill on cvs keep that in mind. I schooled 120 elites earlier this week with a +9 cv crew just to prove it possible. And for the first comment/guy your ass backwards almost hero is best in two nations UK and US not Km. Reason being these are the only two nations that you can get a potential gain based on pot stat. Just keep in mind every natio. Has it's characteristics and if u learn to play to those base stat will never matter. I'm also realizing that if micro manage ur planes SM is practically useless, however it's a significant gain for those uncontrolled planes.

without hero pilot, your SD will still be capped. and repair rate will still be competitive.

also, there's a fighter ability cap probably, REALLY. Please take advice from your fleet leader.

we, forum dude, won't take responsibility for mistake, if any. :-)

There isn't a fighter cap currently.

There is no need to load vets and cap your fighters in order to play GB's. I'd recommend levelling hero's and work on your micromanagement, and only start really kitting them out if you do HA or competitive fleet events.
