How about the SMS Goeben a Moltke class battlecrusier that was transferred to the Turkish Navy as the Yavuz Sultan Selim during ww1. It remained in the Turkish Navy until 1954. Of course the Moltke class has been used twice already before

Why not give USN the Prinz Eugen since it finished its life as the USS Prinz Eugen too? We could go verrrrry far with that logic.... So best drop it I think.

Altough I'd have an awesome name for that one : USS Nuke Dummy :)

The Prinz Eugue was a war trophy for the US navy after ww2. The SMS Goeben serving in the Turkish Navy as Yavuz Sultan Selim was a gift to the Turks from the Imperial German Empire during ww1 as a means to keep the ww1 Allied Powers convoys using the black sea to supply Russia. It was still in Turkish service throughout ww2.
