hi, i'm considering to start a bb crew, and was wondering the different crew for monty, bb5, and the pros n cons.

I would like to seek experienced bb users' comments and opinions.

Monty (8 support slots)
1 bo
1scout- i asumme bb all need scout, but do correct me if im wrong
2 main gunners
2 rld/rld/rld gunners to function as aa gunners
3rep
4eng
and do i need restore? or can i max sd without restore?

is this a decent crew setup? I had asked around in game and was told that i should have 5 eng, but im worried my repair rate will be too low/slow with only 2 reps

After you reach BB5 and you engys are in the 100s go back and level your AA gunners up. You'll need the extra 2 knots from not using AA in the Iowa. Monty doesn't lose speed putting AA on.

@ 120 you would need another Rep or Engy (Or just level your AA gunners)(I'd pick and engy since if you get 150 vets on 4 reps to get like 250-280 dp/s rep, the extra 30 seconds of OH is worth it) I suggest both, have a full BB6 crew without AA so you can switch as you please and get the maximum results.

Restores become usless around lvl 90. If you use AA gunners around lvl 98. You'll SD Cap @ 900 SD with just at level supports around those levels.

As soon as I get my Midway and Class my APA BO I'll have every US Ship, I currently have every US DD, non APA CLs, CAs, PCL, PCA, PBB, PCV, CV1-3, All 4 US BB lines, EBB1-3, SS1-4 (Its 9 levels short of SS5 level so I'll level that up some more later) If they'd stop adding ships I've have the entire US nation on 1 account.

1 scout 4 engys 3 reps

nebby can be 1 scout 5 engy 3 rep
OR 1 scout 4 engy 4 rep



Not to be totally impolite rick, but till 2 weeks ago, you couldn't figure out if your iowa crew was correct or not, and we answered many questions for you.

It would be nice if you could at least understand the reasons behind the suggestions before making your own. Mainly about caps and true ability for various stats. (repair, engine, restore, acc/rld etc)

Rick....I think I won't help you next time you ask on this forum. This is at least the 2nd time now you've trolled on someone who the week before who tried to help you figure something out. Either earn some respect for those trying to help others, or keep your comments to your self.


Also if I remember right you were spamming multiple threads a month ago with ridiculous replies in general discussion. Please refrain from doing anything you might regret in the future.
