  • Nelson vs Hood

ok guys,

i know there are like a 1000 of these topics.
but those are out dated. the thing is, wich one is better/more fun to play with.
i really have no idea but the nelly got 3/420 gun space and the hood 4/488 wich is alot more fire power
but the huge "hitbox" of the hood is the big downside. oh jeah, and its a bit slower than the nelson.

so what should i do!

i would really like your opinions in this topic!

I use Nelson with 3x double 15'' (Speed Whore) -> small & fast ship with nice concentrate firepower ... Hood is too big & too easy to hit ...

so the good days of the hood are long gone.

makes the choice alot easier for me then.

Made a Hood just because I like the Hood story ect, however Nelson has a greater purpose because in order to make up for the Hood's huge hit box and lack of speed I need to cut the back guns and up the Deck armor.. Would like to test the Nelson.. OH WELL...

Hood is a freaking huge cruiser with huge hitbox, it got fair speed, its main guns are 15" mk III but most player uses 16"



the quads have more hitpower and by my experience faster reload too but the tripple 16s very very bad spread and less hitpower then the quads but has more range and is lighter

I chose Hood. The hitbox is large, that's true. I used either the Mark III 15" or the Mark I 16" guns on it. I may die but I'm taking someone with me. Also, a Hood is not all that bad. It's just a question of range. The level 82 Mark III 15" guns can hit someone far off if they are just traveling straight. And it's rather worth seeing the look on the faces of those who died to a Hood. ^^;
