Yesterday I have noticed that in several games there were BBs camping and doing nothing forceing the team to make up for the lost guns on the front. I didnt have a problem with this usally I figured they were afk but yesterday they were telling others stuff to do like "BB north" or "scouts center"  and today I noticed the same thing my question is WHY DO BBS CAMP?

Not practical. Recall the analysis of what battleships REALLY get in attack score that I did back on AZ. (And I doubt things have gotten BETTER since then.) If they had to earn their own DP in damage to get XP, then half the BB out there would get no XP and the player base would shrink even further.

Remember, for every BB5 out there that clears 100k attack in a game, there are 3 BB that got pwned by him in the process. That's just how it works. Penalizing those players for getting outranged, outgunned, and outplayed is redundant... they're already getting penalized by the very act of getting minced by a BB5.

How to increase the quality of play from BB players is another matter, but stiffer penalties for sucking are likely only to reduce the player base.

It gets even worse when you see some ships with missing guns.

This is getting common in Blitz. Seeing a CA with no guns on R slots ruins a teams chances of winning. Even the hybrid IJN CA's ruin a split if they're incapable of attacking with guns.

And? They should get better. It is practical, it means people don't get free exp for doing nothing. Its damn easy to get more attack than your DP, I did it when I first started often enough. I'm not even talking about including SD. And if they are in a lower level ship, they can put ASW/AA on and support.

Or even put a scout on and gain personal credits for scouting, but I doubt a fantastic idea like that would ever be implemented...

smart = no no in NF.

Much better to allow people to noob it out in blitz with their first BB1 rather than learn valuable lesson, or Bomb the heck out of CL2 with a DD rather than learn fighter support with their CV1.

I mean after a grind of shooting nuke-shotgun (also named PHH) at each other for 45 levels, skill has obviously been gained.

I actually remember a game where rushing north with a BB3, I dispatched the sole BB4 there, and looking at the game realized there was 3 BB sitting at spawn. Rushed, there, and 4 BBs got killed in the first 5 min, 2 of them never moved, the last one participation to the team effort was trying to run away when his two leeching friends got killed.

So yes it is a problem.

Screenshot with the timer are always a good way to see a leecher, and if you can get multiple one to show it wasn't only a one time occurance (happened I had an emergency in RL and had to leave waiting room, forgotting totally about it) its even better. Complete with screenshot of the result screen, clearly showing 0 attack for them.

I don't see how you'd get banned lol.

NF needs a wall of shame category, where those behaviour are published openly. Sad that some hardcore leecher are paying customers also.

Mostly because many CV players makes it that we don't notice them any difference between when they are leeching and when they aren't sadly.

All you would need to do is get Screen of them with your cursor showing coords . it also shows clock. Then just get sucessive screens of him at the same spot but later and later in time. Also by then, someone has called them out, so get relevant chat as well. That should be more than enough definitive proof of leeching, And I'm sure any mod would act on that. They must err on the side of caution, since sometimes screens can be misleading, but with proof like that, they may act.

Ne'er a truer word said. Majority of CVs suck so much now the team would be better off if they just leeched in spawn
