Any one else gettting frustrated with the massive HH use in CV only rooms. The event the other day was horrible.  There was just a CV charging the others and killing them with HH. Im not saying no guns at all but that was rediculous.

agreed, it is like having a bb game... what is the point of a cv game... I say no HH in CV games... there are no subs anyway ;)

Could always make the map the one with the icebergs dividing the map in 2 with 3 openings.

That map tends to make the game more fighter/bomber friendly, while keeping the possibility of close gun/hh combat a reality, but somewhat limited.

banning HH/guns from select modes halves your player base.

i'm not gonna sell all the guns on my high tier cv's just to play a select mode and put them back on after the match because i'm running into SS in GB's.

and im not buying a 2nd one (dont think thats possible to start with)


and then there's the saying;

the gunner allways gets it first (kinda the same with cv6's)

90% of all battles they get fightercamped & bombed before theyre able to sink a ship with gunnery
(at least this was the case before the cv event, haven't really bother playing selects during & after it because of the drop in skill lvl)

I agree hh in CV rooms is really dumb. as far as running/staying away goes i saw a cv6 just parade around the map killing everything without launching a single plane... was stacked with supports. maybe we should split the rooms like GB and have 6CV and 8 BB/CV lol jk.this game has some stupid moments and im over trying to get the youngsters that run this thing to grow a brain... the further this game travels from reality the less i care for it. and piombo I'd really like to see you one shot kill a pcv with restorer with your aWsOmE 11'' guns lol. Maybe someone could explain any good reason hh does so much damage to surface ships... if not EASY FIX! =) gging all

ehh nxt cry topic... if u know how too play u can overrange cv with phh. and sink him before he came into range. Whats more...hmm... where are all stupid bwplayers with their useless bombers? Learn how to play and than start cry about real problems of nf (hacks, bugs, crashes, noobs with bw cvs). hhs arent problem of this game. phhs are only weapon vs brainles players

its LIMITED possible .. in SOME of the IJN and KM lines .. maybe others too .... * IF * its a REMODEL cv ship ...
i learned last year from a comment on the forum somewhere that you CAN re-buy the ORIGINL ship hull if you have remodeled it into the other hull ... and i tested this on my kitakami .. it did let me but a 2nd kuma hull ... i can't get a 2nd kita remod out of it .. but i do have both a kita and a kuma in the dockyard now .. so it is possible (in theory) in a limited sense ... (think .. KAGA, AKAGI, GRAF ZEP, etc ..) .. but generally speaking NO - you can only have ONE of each ship type (with the limited exception of remodels as mentioned) ...

that argument didn't work for the blitz complaints .. there are no SS in blitz either ...

there have also been suggestions to allow SS in blitz to at least justify HH use there ...

and with the coming SS/bomber plans .. should we lobby to RE-RE-class the IJN hybrids back into 'cv' status ?
(and include the planned carrier sub in the CV classing as well ? .. lol)

i personally do not care for the nerf efforts (thinnly disguised as 'balance attempts') that are being suggested for the SS ... this so-called 'balance' effort is transparently a self-serving agenda to maintain the status quo artificial superiority of the big BB drivers ... they do NOT want 'balance' they want "nerf everything but the BB" and prevent any threats to BB superiority) ... in reality both the cv and ss rendered the BB semi-obsolete ... any level SS torps should be able to sink any BB with a single decent on-target slavo ... having to struggle with chasing a BB with a sub and throwing ALL you torp load at it just to cripple it is NOT 'balance' ... and how is it that teh minute a sub runs out of air = its DEAD ... UN-NERF the water armor small hit box 'invulnerability' factor ... bring back full torp damage for SS .... let the big bully boy bb drivers suck it up for a while .. the day of BB superiority has come and gone ... fake 'blance' just alienates the serious players as mentioned above ... this game has a core of LOYAL historical followers .. we play for the TACTICS SIMULATION aspect ..... this game does NOT have the wow-cool graphics factor to attract any of the newer generations of gamers ... this game is a walking dinosaur .. and the real core base are those who are in it for the historical aspect (semi-reality is required at least - in order for that group to remain playing) ... as it is right now - this game is becoming more and more 'rigged' to allow for the big BB's to bully anything else in game (and that trait is reflected in the forum trolls and flamers - notice how the worst offenders are the big bb drivers ?) ... they bully cv drivers, they bully ss drivers, they mock and belittle the support ship drivers ... .. .. enough .. .. .. bring back the historical TACTICAL SIMULATION aspect of the game that us old-farts fell in love with ... and that the testeserone poisoned young guns have been ruining in the name of 'balance' (its not 'balance' its been all one-sided nerfing of everything NOT big bb)

the game is losing loyal long term players (and failing to attract new players) mainly because of the gun-club faction here in-game ... big mouths with big guns that blast anyone who dare question their self-bestowed 'god-status' ...

Only way to stop the retards from ABing their fighters to death instead of trying to you know... win the game by bombing other CVs(I know that's fucking unheard of)
