Since the last thread got locked, do you think your T5 sub is an UPGRADE from your T4 sub?
State your sub nation and if so, state why...

Just have to wait till the devs patch the nerfs for the rest of the subs, then the SS5 will feel like an improvement.

From what i recall the testing fellas (Or i should say the people who are around there the most) weren't allowed to touch SS1-4 and were only allowed to balance the SS5's so its not really their fault.

While this may be true, the lead tester should have taken this into consideration and come up with an alternate solution.


What alternate solution is there? make your SS5 kill BB6's with one torp? i don't think so, he made the right call by balancing it the way he did, and SDE shoulda let him tackle the rest of the subs all at once.

SS5 simply needs an upgrade from SS4 and right now that is not the case (for most nations). SS and ASW needs to have been balanced together as a whole.


By all means, tell me what your idea of improvement is, as there are quite a few improvements for all nations (I dont know them offhand but ive seen a few players point them out)

The massive decrease in reload across the board for starters - There are more but this is something to be discussed in the testing forum.

No clear objectives were defined when balancing SS5 - This was another shoot from the hip type deal that they said would not happen again. In other words - Total fail on the testing team.
