but to address cena's comment above ... re-setting all 4 harbors is NOT the only way it can be done ...
its pretty simple for sde to strip out the fleetmaster acct and dump the fleet holding a exploited harbor
which then frees it up to be reclaimed by the legitmate fleet who had it before the dishonorable exploit
just something you might want to consider .. re-setting all 4 harbors is not the only way it can be corrected
assuming the harbors remain 'as is' ..
there is still the matter of only two fleets being unfairly deprived of their harbors due to a sde-caused mess
sde has responsibility in this matter .. regardless of how they may wish to sidestep it ..
they should come to a method to compensate all fleet members of the 2 fleets involved
there should be discussion between the fleet leaders and sde/tnf as to the specifics ...
but each member who showed up lost out .. and each member is entitled to redress
thats just how i see it ... sde made a mess .. sde should either clean it up and restore harbors somehow
or make ammends and compensate all fleet members who were cheated out of HA and event drops time
of course this is assuming sde/nfna actually cares about taking responsibility for their mess up in this patch
For 6yrs SDE have had the same policy regarding HA... they do not edit results, they are extremely unlikely to kick out either of the 2 new owners. The only time they would consider this is if a hack had been used, however it is their own problem. We voted for Harbour assaults to come back, including bugs... they did not say this would not include future bugs, so the majority voted for this.
And as I said yesterday for those that continue flaming me... I have spoken with head mod, and I have spoken with AA fleetleader, as nobody here is aware of the decision us 2 came to, how about ya hush up? sweet :)
