  • Help me make the ULTIMATE US CV crew!

(I AM NOT ASKING FOR SAILORS, OR CREDITS. JUST YOUR 2 CENTS + ADVICE.)

Hello.

I am starting from scratch on the nebraska server. I am planning to create a shiny new USCV crew, grind from fletcher,
to bouge, and then to the midway. I have tried USCV's before, and I absolutely love them. 

My plan is to have 4 FP's (+12 and BVE), 2 bombers (all DB, or one DB and one TB, BVE), and 1 scout (also BVE).
The actual crew consists of a BO , 2 rld gunners (I am shooting for 11/12, but I highly doubt that I can 
get that. Possibly also BVE'd), and an engie and a repair (both BVE'd). I am going to start leveling the FP's first with
my main crew, then the bombers, the engie and rep, then the scouts. All accounting for a completely full crew at
lvl 120 with the midway.

I am going crazy on the BVE. I plan to save a couple of bucks by AA whoring to get experts, but boosting is still
going to cost me $25.

I plan to get the majority of credits from AA'ing, so I kill 3 birds with one stone (a boost in experts, a couple of
credits, and obviously one enemy plane in flames).

Now that you know how exactly I plan to do this, I want you to (I am going to regret saying this) RUTHLESSLY 
criticize it.

I know a couple of tricks (such as delaying classing the fighter pilots as aces so I continue to get boosts in the 
"fighter" stat, etc.), but are there a couple of other things I can try along the way to give my sailors a little more of
a boost?


Thanks for any advice/tips you post.

EDIT: New Pilot setup:

6 +12 fighter stat, 10/11 rep/res stat FP's
2 +12 bomber stat, 10/11 rep stat.

There just arent enough support slots in the world for all of these pilots/engies/reps/seamen... :<

when classing skip the rookie and class at fighter or bomber. They keep up the rep/rest stat for a few dozen levels. seems a waste to roll +11 kicker stats to have them go to waste for nothing.

also good idea to have a few 120 scouts at CV6. If your job is dragging like in HA, T5scouts do a better job at it than T4fighters. If I had to do the cv grind again I would start at 8 scouts.
