  • how many olives a sailor worth?

Just a idea

Since this is NFNA, I use the basic salary in Florida, 7 bucks/hour, if I remember correctly.

1 buck = 20 olives

assume 10 minutes per battle.

so, N1=140/6=23.3 olives per battle

(but if we refer the lv 12 elite sailor's price, 80 olives, compare wht 60 olives for lv1 elite sailors, it should be N1=20/11=1.82 olives/battle)

For a ebve sailor, 60 olives for elite, 50 olive for boost, 50 olive for vets, 160 olives totally.

Level up from 1 to 120 will need NE=46754550 exp totally.

Assume N2=20000 exp per battle on average

So, N3=46754550/N2=2337.7 battles totally.

But you are leveling alot of sailors together. lets assume N4=12, because you can't put all 14 sailors onboard when low level.

Finally, a lv120 ebve sailor's price should be

1, If based on the laber fee in U.S.
    N(olives)=N3*N1/N4+160=2337.7*23.3/12+160=4699 olives ($235)

2, If based on the lv1 and lv12 elite sailorss price in NF store
    N(olives)=N3*N1/N4+160=2337.7*1.82/12+160=515 olives ($26)

Anyway, the price depends on the sailor's supply and demand condition too. as I said, just a idea.

But, I still think it is not a good sign for buying high sailor with cash.

A bit of "Inside trading" if you know what I mean?

I suppose in legal terms it could be seen as something like money Laundering, or a way of moving suspicious sailors gained by questionable means...
I think SDE needs to look a bit deeper into this one especially as it has been brought to their attention already in an ongoing Issue of "sailors gained by unscrupulous means". a case where this player was at the end of the chain after a level 120 sailor was borrowed, and then sold through trade system 2 hrs later. Ending up on that account.
I apologise if Ive spoken out of place but I know the other gentleman involved and it was a rotten thing to happen to him.
Guys at TNF, I Thankyou for your assistance here.

i dunno correct my math if i do it wrong , but i think an olive isn't always worth an olive :

in nf store :100 vets =200 olives. 200 experts =40 olives

100 vets = 200 is olives + 100 experts =20 so if a sailor got 100 vets is that worth 220 olives

so any sailor with 100 vets is worth 220 olives ?

+ 1 boost (50 olives) ?

+400 experts (80 olives)?

------------

-so what is a vet worth over 100 ? (max buy for vetting )

:player x : used 4000 experts to get from 100 vets to 180 ; are the 80 vets worth 4000 experts =800 olives ?

-is it time or olives or time vs olives

-same for a lvl and what lvl ?

-time: is it free or did it cost u to play or does it get u negative olives , because u entertained ur self .

- did the sailor get lvled on prem or on a free account . time vs olives.

-----

lvl 1elite sailor : 60 olives in nf store

lvl 12 elite sailor : 80 olives in nf store

= 20 olives for 10 lvls

those 10 lvls = 10 games

= 10 games worth 20 olives ?

with that math a lvl120 elite is really expensive

---

a torpper caps at : lets say 100 vets and 200 experts ( just a number there)

what is it worth: to play more for useless extra sailors that u need to remove

or an elite torpper capped vs a boosted VS a normal VS a +9 = it is all the same just the lvl difference
-----

my crew and account are priceless : because of all the memory's

The equation is quite simple actualy

N1 + N2 + wind chill factor / hours played + the earths rotation / emc2 - amount of beans c.onsumed = Number of olives

I found this very effective if you add , 2 eggs , 1 oz flour , 1/2 pint o milk .. mix & place in a middle oven for about 15 mins or until golden brown.

Works for me :)

Support tickets were already in system at time of posting.
I only brought it up because some oneother than myself or the people involved noticed the discrepencies...

It is in the hands of the GM's and hopefully will be sorted soon.

no one will pay $26 for a sailor they can pay for, for 2-3$, ur method is retarded, obviously this means your theory and formula is completely flaw.

normal ?

transfer his own sailors from one server to another?

i have done that.. very posible

on a side note.. i got a post nuked where i asked why buy lvl 12 +12 restorer for 110 olives when lvl 12 elite costs 80.
basic answer is: different stuff is worth different things to ppl. (short version of gm reply)

free marked means prices are what sell sets em at, and what ppl actually pays. And as far as i can tell... its mostly elites selling. So the entire olive trade is for ppl who will fund SDE.

and i dont mind.. they have to make a living off us players... again free marked.. we want what they give us.... FUN

Basic economics

Different people have different value they attach to an item. This guy might buy a pencil for 10 cents, while another thinks thats a ripoff and demands for a 5 cent pencil (Lol)

What you dont want is SDE to turn around an set a price of their own do you?
(ps. already done to some players favor)

the trade system is and has always been based on supply and demand. People pay what they feel are reasonable cost - Albiet the one or two who dont care about supply and focus only on demand - Hey you could own the world and be a trend setter in the next 50 years - when demand is higher ......... IF demand is higher ---

In my humble opinion - finally making my first bb6 and working slowly towards #2 -
Grinding is always more fun - though annoying at times - but if you want to skip the process - ENJOY Spending the olives for it.
