It can be obviously retarded and all that but making a post to complain about it is pointless. You counter it as best you can in-game and try to improve in spite of it to defeat it in the future.

I guess if the original complaint is specifically about the moderator, you just have to realize that his crew isn't going to be better than can be achieved by other players.

In fact, I think it's worse in GB, because once you have a 120 BO, the only thing you can do with it in a BB6 (aside from pulling all sailors to 120) is practice for HA (if you don't get to play it enough) or just be a dick.

Yes, but of course you realize some offenders are much worse than others.

Like certain folk who only play top-tier SS, PBB, or BB6.

first - sometimes its not the benefit of sinking someone in blitze as much as it is hitting someone. (Shared exp for the win)

Second -
Monitors are there to encourage fun - and in truth - it probably pushes smaller people to be more competitive if there is a mod/mon on their team. I come in and play in a Brooklyn from time to time or if Im really mean Ill play in a PCL - but its again - about the challenge that some newer players have fun with.

Third -
If you have an issue with the play or attitude of a TNF Monitor - please seek out a Moderator that is online. We would be more than willing to work with you - if there is not a mod on - then send a support ticket.

I thought the veteran players would see what OP thinks and discuss about it, but instead they use ad hominem against OP. It's sad really. Seems like the NF community loves losing players and yet wondering why Navyfield is dying; like a person eating dozens of cake and pondering why he is gaining weight. I don't mean to be offensive, but I'm just stating the truth that no one even realizes.


On topic:

I do agree that Monitors need to be wary of beginners and let them have a chance. I know that they love killing low level newbs but that instinct needs to be repressed if they don't want Navyfield to die by gradual loss of players.

well, I do try to counter it, if there's a mod or an obviously OP person in a Blitz I kind of hope I'm on the other team just so I can kick their back-sides. Obviously I usually don't but it's at least good sport to try when you know you're doomed to lose anyway =P but it does get tiresome when you're repeatedly on the wrong end of it.

as for BB6, I'm not very experienced to comment but in rooms that I've been in with 1 BB6 it doesn't dominate as much as I hope/fear (depending if it's with me or not). At least in that case the best 2 BB5s go to Bravo, and some of them may have better crews and be better players. Or he could be stuck with noob CVs.
