While I have been of this mindset for years, simply stating that doesn't make it possible. At some point in your team sucking, it doesn't matter how good you are...it is impossible to win by yourself.

It was very noticeable in the select rooms last week. You can't win a 1 or 2 vs 6+ BB game every time. When most of your team gets overrun in 4-6 minutes, it doesn't matter how good you are...you aren't going to win a 1v5 fight every time. It's just not realistic.

And, the same goes for GBs. Yes, if you are good enough, you can take a BB56, get 300k+ attack and win the game, but how often does that happen and how many people are really able to do that consistently? (And completely ignore the idea if you are in less than a BB5).

Hell, I played a game just the other day where I sank 9 out of 10 BBs and 3 of the 4 CVs and my team BARELY won. The team barely won because the other 9 BBs on my team had less than 40k attack and were all dead within 4 minutes and all 4 of the CVs launched less than 3 flights of fighters the whole game (I sank the last 2 BBs while completely blind and without scouts).

I don't care how good you are or how good the ship is...you aren't going to win a game with no fighter support when you are up against 5/6/7 enemy BBs.

I agree with this wholeheartedly.

Every game where we don't immediately roll them, I am always the last, or penultimate BB to die, playing in a BB5. And sometimes (and this is just ridiculous), I'm the last ship alive because the CV's don't consider moving at all when one flank starts to fall.

I'm actually having to adjust my aim to compensate for the fact that enemy BB's aren't going to zigzag or slingshot, just move in a straight line slightly towards me.
