So, my idea is delete green lines of main guns and add values of angles rotating guns (0 - 360 degrees).
Of course left angles of altitude guns and lines of aa guns.

1. angles 45 degrees of altitude guns
2. angles circa 80* of rotated guns

2. angles of rotated guns: forward guns circa 45*, rear gun circa 30*

It need add second pair watches of angles.
At the beginning of this new system could be create though 1 selected mode of battles "real shooting".

The manual fcs at beginning of playing seemed difficult too.
My gold bar is irrelevant in this topic. Your post is "argumentum ad personam" and doesn't relate for my idea.

You don't want to try even this solution. What are u afraid? This solution makes battle more real.
Time of batlle would be longer or battle could be last even all the time - next logging players could be join
to battle at balance - no more waiting on start battle! Finaly can be exploit harbours where ships would be repair, change sets and crew after return there. It'll exploit a few teams (alpha, bravo, charlie...), fleets in the same battle. Maps bigger, bridge operator with more sight, longer range of guns, smaller fog of war, etc..
